The multi-award-winning Financial Advisor is not one to shy away from a challenge. One of the first female advisors in the industry, Vanessa spent 6 years working with Mortgage Express and earning several commendations along the way, including Top Performing Mobile Manager 3 years running, and Mortgage Express 75 Million Settled Home Loans Award in 2007. In 2010, after several years as a top performer with Mortgage Express, Vanessa was ready to hang out her shingle, and Greenlight Mortgages was born.
Vanessa’s eye for detail and excellent problem-solving skills means she knows her way around spreadsheets, calculators and projections, but what really drives her is the human element behind the numbers, things like helping a family build their dream home, ensuring a couple gets the fertility treatment they need to start their family or securing a nest egg to make retirement the best time of someone’s life.
Securing finance is about making good choices in complex situations. With a wealth of experience, Vanessa guides the decision-making process to ensure success. She stresses that precision is key. Providing the right documentation at the right time is critical. And while all the attention to detail may sound dry, it is anything but. In her words, “My job is anything but dry… it’s life-changing and I feel privileged to be part of that”.
When Vanessa is not helping people fulfil their dreams, she can be found fulfilling one of hers. As a Volunteer at Motat, she tinkers on aviation engines, and hosts guests at the aviation display. Always the visionary, Vanessa is at home on the very edge of her comfort zone.
